Testing was conducted to measure emissions of particulate matter (PM/PM-10), formaldehyde, and sulfuric acid from each unit.

During a separate field effort, CK performed relative accuracy test audits (RATA) of the continuous emissions monitoring (CEM) systems servicing each of the three units to demonstrate that each CEM system satisfies the applicable 40 CFR 75 Appendix A/B and 40 CFR 60 Appendix B/F relative accuracy (RA) performance specification criteria.

Specifically each RATA includes testing for oxides of nitrogen (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), ammonia slip (NH3), and oxygen (O2) in accordance with 40 CFR 60, Appendix A, Performance Specifications 2, 3, and 4.
